1 New Lanark World Heritage Site. Discover the fascinating history of the village of New Lanark, brought back to life in an award winning Visitor Centre, where you can explore all the attractions with a passport ticket. Plenty to see and do.

2 M and D's Scotland's Theme Park, Motherwell.  Scotland's Theme Park is FUN for ALL the family! A great selection of rides and attractions, from the kiddie's corner to the more thrilling rides and attractions for teens and adults!

3 Biggar Puppet Theatre.  A fantastic puppet theatre that is home to the world famous International Purves Puppets! Loads of shows for kids aged 5 and older, plus puppet making workshop and birthday parties available.

4 Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton. Over 500 acres of beautiful woodland and countryside to enjoy, filled with wonderful walks, plus a Visitor Centre and restored Hunting lodge to discover. There is also an Exhibition gallery, a cafe and a gift shop. Free to visit!

5 Amazonia, Motherwell. Scotland's largest indoor tropical rainforest with over 70 different species.

7 The Time Capsule, Coatbridge. The Time Capsule has long enjoyed a reputation as being a great day out for the family. Superb indoor waterpark with twin flumes, wave pool, group water ride, lazy river and coral cove for the little ones. There are also an ice rink, full gym and sport facilities plus a tots' play zone.

8 Leadhills & Wanlockhead Railway, Leadhills.  Wanlockhead is the highest village in Scotland and the location of Britain's highest adhesion railway!

9 Low Parks Museum, Hamilton. 5 Star Visit Scotland Attraction based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

10 Lanark Loch, Lanark. A 20 acre acre man-made loch with fishing, adventure playground, trampolines, bumper boats, pitch and putt golf and more between mid April and the end of September.
